About Jane Woodcock
Biography
Ms. Woodcock was born and raised in the Central Valley. She graduated from San Joaquin College of Law in May of 1992. She began practicing law on November 30, 1992.
Ms. Woodcock has always worked in the defense of workers’ compensation claims wherein she has represented self-insured employers, third party administrators and insurance companies. On January 14, 2002, Ms. Woodcock opened her own firm.
Ms. Woodcock has taken numerous cases to trial and has secured 26 Take Nothings during the last few years. In addition, she has been successful in having decisions after trial overturned by the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board’s Reconsideration Unit. Further, she has successfully argued at the Court of Appeals level.
Ms. Woodcock has had six cases successfully prosecuted for workers’ compensation fraud after she has taken the injured worker’s and/or doctor’s depositions with the help of sub rosa film.
The firm works closely with their clients from the beginning of a case through resolution to ensure that their needs are addressed aggressively, but economically.

Certified by the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization as a Specialist in Workers’ Compensation Law.
